About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Engineer to join our team at Civilconsult Consulting Engineers Ltd in Randfontein. The successful candidate will have a National Diploma in Civil Engineering and over 6 years of experience in civil infrastructure projects, including water, sanitation, storm water, and roads. They will be responsible for monitoring contractors’ progress on site, ensuring contract administration and quality control are up to date, and referring significant queries on design/engineering matters to the Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor contractors’ progress on site daily
• Ensure contract administration and quality control are up to date
• Refer significant queries on design/engineering matters to the Engineer
• Close out projects at the end of the contract duration

Requirements

• National Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Over 6 years of civil infrastructure project experience
• Experience in contract administration and quality control
• Ability to relocate for a contract duration of approximately two (2) years to Randfontein CBD
