About the Role
Pratley Manufacturing & Engineering Co Ltd is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Krugersdorp, West Rand, Gauteng. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing various financial aspects of our company, including debtors, creditors, wages, salaries, and cash book.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervision of debtors, creditors, wages, salaries, and cash book
- Computation and submission of company taxation and Value Added Tax
- Compiling monthly management reports
- Maintaining records
- Maintenance and implementation of internal controls
- Liaising with external consultants and auditors
- Monthly and annual reconciliations
- Maintenance and implementation of fixed assets
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. BCom, ACCA, CIMA)
Qualifications
- SAIPA or equivalent certification would be advantageous
