- Able to speak and understand Afrikaans and English. Other African native languages will be beneficial
- Code 8 driver’s licence
- Valid RSA ID
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Email)
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
- Management of staff to prepare customer orders to the highest standards
- Development of standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and quality
- Implementation and enforcement of existing standard operating procedures
- Recording of packhouse data for decision making
- Planning and organising of drivers and trucks for deliveries
- Communication with clients regarding orders
- Training of packhouse employees to improve process and systems
- Management of harvesting teams to bring crops to packhouse for orders
- Stock management of fresh produce and consumables
- Global GAP Record Keeping
