About the Role
Our client operates within the conservation and tourism sector, providing services and infrastructure to support a game reserve environment. The team is focused on maintaining facilities and ensuring a safe and well-kept environment for staff and visitors. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general building and construction tasks
- Conduct repairs and maintenance of facilities
- Painting and finishing work as required
- Tilling and preparing grounds for landscaping or agricultural purposes
- Operate tractors and other light machinery
- Assist with general labour duties around the reserve
- Ensure equipment is maintained and stored correctly
- Follow safety procedures while working on-site
- Support team with ad-hoc maintenance projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in building, maintenance, or general labour
- Ability to drive a tractor (Non-Negotiable)
- Valid Code B drivers license
- Skilled in painting, tilling and maintenance work
