About the Role
We are seeking a Registered/Enrolled Nurse to join our team as an Independent Mobile Nurse. As an independent mobile nurse, you will have the freedom to set your own schedule while earning an additional income. You will be working on various services, including insurance medicals, conducting blood tests, preparing written medical reports and questionnaires, and providing health assessments at companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct insurance medicals, including a range of blood tests
- Prepare written medical reports and questionnaires
- Provide health assessments at companies, offering services such as finger-prick cholesterol and glucose screenings, HIV testing, BMI calculations, and vision screenings (Snellen Chart)
- Collect vaccinations and administer them to babies in collaboration with our client and Dis-Chem
- Administer IV treatments and provide wound care for patients under the Homecare Banner
- Conduct home visits for members aged 65 and above, focusing on preventing hospitalizations through proactive and comprehensive reporting
Requirements
- SANC Registered
- Possess phlebotomy experience
- Have access to a smart device and a car
- Experience in midwifery, paediatrics, and/or baby vaccinations (for Mobile Baby Vaccinations)
- Experience in ICU, trauma, or High care, Renal/Dialysis (for Homecare Banner)

- Formal education/certifications: SANC Registration
Salary & Benefits
- Base rate per completed appointment: R220.50
- Base rate for a no-show appointment: R99.75
- Fuel levy per appointment: R12.20 (if not claimed as an OA appointment)
- OA 1 Completed (61 to 99km): R245.25
- OA 1 No Show (61 to 99km): R119.75
- OA 2 Completed (100km): R295.25
- OA 2 No Show (100km): R139.75
- Hourly Rate: R170.00 per hour spent on-site
- NURSE RATE: R350.00 per appointment
