About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing tactical strategy and associated delivery plans and policies to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability of the Kia dealership in Roodepoort, South Africa, while providing exceptional customer satisfaction daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Come to work with a win-win attitude
- Sit with Sales managers and F & I Managers daily to discuss key performance indicators (KPIs) such as debtors, deals invoiced, deals pending, activities, applications, trade-in valuations, stock levels, and daily CMS meetings and sales activity planning
- Conduct a morning check of work-in progress, cash sales for workshop and parts, vehicle debtors, interest, and loan car status
- Perform a daily walk-about of the dealership to ensure it is clean and tidy and inviting to customers
- Handle customer complaints daily, follow-up, and close them off
- Meet with salesmen, Sales managers, and F & I managers together twice a week to discuss individual targets, deals, and progress
- Conduct weekly meetings with all managers to discuss sales by DP, Sales Manager, and salesperson performance
- Ensure sales manager has two vehicles per salesman invoiced and delivered by the end of the month
- Discuss problems between departments and how to resolve them
- Review trading accounts and have the Accountant correct any errors picked up on a weekly basis
- Conduct weekly boots and bonnet inspections of all company demos
- Attend monthly Managers meeting to discuss previous months’ results, department by department
Requirements
- 5 – 8 years’ experience in a similar environment
- 2 – 3 years at management level
- Valid South African driver’s licence
