About the Role
As a Warehouse Stock Team Leader at HR-Simplified Ltd, you will be responsible for organizing and controlling all aspects of stock management to ensure efficient, effective, and up-to-date inventory processes. You will lead and motivate a team to meet performance targets while continuously improving standards through disciplinary supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate inventory records
- Conduct cycle counts, spot checks, and assist with monthly stock take
- Investigate and resolve stock variances or discrepancies
- Identify and report slow-moving or damaged stock
- Lead and motivate team members to meet performance targets
- Manage attendance, leave, and disciplinary issues in line with company policy
- Support new staff with training and ensure compliance with safety rules and procedures
- Encourage teamwork and build a positive, accountable work culture
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment
- Enforce company health and safety standards and address unsafe practices immediately
- Conduct routine safety checks and report any incidents or near misses
- Ensure all warehouse activities follow legal and company requirements
