Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage the guiding team to uphold high standards of guiding and guest interaction.
  
• Conduct guided game drives and bush walks, providing educational and memorable experiences for guests.
  
• Oversee the training and development of junior guides and trackers.
  
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  
• Assist in conservation management tasks, including monitoring wildlife, alien plant control, and fire management.
  
• Maintain lodge vehicles and equipment used for guiding activities.
  
• Collaborate with lodge management to improve guest experience continuously.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Nature Site Guide (NQF4) qualification.
  
• Trails guiding experience and full trails qualification advantageous.
  
• Valid drivers license and PDP.
  
• Rifle competency and experience in handling dangerous game.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  
• Passion for conservation and environmental awareness.
  
• Previous experience in a Head Guide or Senior Guide role within a luxury lodge environment preferred.
