About the Role
As a Senior Game Farm Manager at our esteemed game farm in Rustenburg, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the farm, ensuring sustainable wildlife and habitat management practices, and delivering exceptional guest experiences at our lodge. You will be the backbone of our operations, managing staff, infrastructure, and maintenance to ensure the smooth running of our game farm and lodge.
Key Responsibilities
- Farm & Wildlife Management: Monitor and manage wildlife populations and habitat interaction.
- Implement and manage bush encroachment control measures.
- Manage erosion control measures.
- Monitor and improve veld condition and grazing capacity.
- Lodge & Accommodation Management: Ensure high standards of hospitality, maintenance, and guest experience.
- Oversee lodge operations, bookings coordination, and housekeeping teams.
- Operational & Business Management: Assist with budgeting, planning, and operational reporting.
Requirements
- Agricultural Diploma/Degree or relevant qualification.
- Minimum 3 years previous Game Farm Management experience.
- Strong management and leadership skills.
- Experience managing staff and farm operations.
- Computer literate.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Mechanically and maintenance orientated.
- Valid drivers license.
