About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a driven SAICA Articled Clerk to enter into an Audit Senior role permanently with our prestigious client, who is a specialist in the Auditing and Accounting field, based full time in Bryanston. As a key member of our audit team, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile clients and develop your skills in auditing standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading audit teams and assisting with planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements
- Reviewing workpapers and financial statements prepared by junior staff
- Conducting risk assessments and identifying areas for improvement in client’s internal controls
- Communicating with clients to discuss findings and recommendations
- Keeping abreast of relevant accounting and auditing standards
- Mentoring and training junior staff members
- Working closely with partners and managers to ensure timely completion of audits
Requirements
- Completed SAICA articles
- Own vehicle and valid driver’s license (Travel involved locally)
- Previous experience working in an audit firm
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
