Job Summary

Responsibilities: Manage the overall workshop operations including scheduling, job allocation, and resource planning Ensure all vehicles and equipment are serviced, repaired, and maintained to the highest standards and in a timely manner Oversee the ordering and stock control of parts and consumables Maintain records of job cards, inspections, and maintenance schedules Coordinate with the transport team to ensure vehicle availability Supervise and guide workshop staff, including technicians and administrative personnel Monitor workshop KPIs and report on productivity, downtime, and efficiency Ensure health and safety compliance within the workshop environment Handle customer queries and ensure high levels of service delivery Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance workshop performance Requirements: Minimum 35 years experience in a similar workshop management role within the automotive, transport, or logistics industry Leadership & team management Technical knowledge of vehicles and workshop procedures Time management and prioritisation Problem-solving and decision-making Customer service orientation Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and workshop management systems Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong verbal and written communication abilities Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Team leadership and interpersonal skills Proven ability to manage workflow and improve operational efficiency Automotive industry experience is essential Please note only candidates with the required experience will be contacted and considered.
