<p><strong>Cluster Financial Manager required for a hotel group. Position is Sandton based.</strong></p><p><strong>Minimum Experience & Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><p>Matric Certificate minimum tertiary degree/diploma in Finance would be preferred</p></li><li><p>4 to 5 years minimum experience in a senior financial role, preferably in luxury hospitality or travel, with a solid track record</p></li><li><p>As the Financial Manager, your previous experience includes, but is not limited to supervising a finance team, whereas a self-driven individual you require very little financial supervision. You should be commercially astute with strong leadership qualities.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, financial literacy, effective communication, leadership, and the ability to manage budgets and costs effectively, while also understanding industry-specific regulations and compliance</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with Advanced Level Excel skills</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in SAGE 300 or similar Accounting Software</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of Hospitality Property Management Systems OPERA V5 or OPERA Cloud would be preferred</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in Sage Payroll Professional would be beneficial</p></li><li><p>Valid RSA ID</p></li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Financial Record Keeping:</strong><br>Finance is responsible for maintaining precise and organized financial records. They calculate and prepare tax returns, submitting them to relevant authorities. Staying updated on changing tax laws is essential to minimize tax liabilities within the bounds of the law.</p><p><strong>Auditing:<br></strong>Finance evaluates an organizations internal controls and processes for accuracy and fairness. Finance is also responsible for managing the external auditors and ensuring audited financial statements are compiled and required according to company standards.</p><p><strong>Financial Analysis:<br></strong>Finance analyzes financial data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
