Job Title Credit Controller Establishment Type Luxury Travel & Tourism Company Location Sandton, Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa Salary Package Market-related Live-out, office-based position Role Overview A leading luxury travel and tourism company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Credit Controller to manage debtor accounts, payment allocations, and collections in line with company credit policies and procedures. This role requires strong reconciliation skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with reservations, sales, and finance teams to resolve queries and maintain healthy debtor balances. Key Responsibilities Accurate allocation of payments received through various channels Actively follow up on outstanding balances in line with payment terms Send invoices, statements, and payment reminders to agents Review debtor age analysis and provide regular feedback Attend and participate in debtor review meetings with management and reservations teams Resolve debtor and system-related queries in line with internal processes Review unallocated cash and perform regular reconciliations Perform weekly bank reconciliations Assist with month-end finance processes Support ad hoc finance duties as required Minimum Requirements (Essential) Previous experience in a Credit Control or Debtors role in the hospitality or travel industry Strong working knowledge of Excel Understanding of general accounting principles Experience preparing debtor reconciliations and resolving queries Excellent organisational and documentation skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines Advantageous Experience in the hospitality or travel industry Knowledge of Tourplan or similar reservations systems Experience working with multiple currencies and international agents TO APPLY Apply with your current CV (including a recent head & shoulders photograph) , along with your reference contacts , ASAP.
