About the Role
Innovation Advance is seeking a Groups & Incentives Operations Consultant to join our team at the heart of impact-driven travel. This role requires someone who thrives on complexity, craves variety, and wants their work to truly matter. As an operations consultant, you’ll be responsible for crafting experiences that move people from the moment a file lands on your desk to the final group departure.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute tailor-made land tours and incentive events
- Travel with groups to ensure flawless on-site delivery
- Manage travel files with sharp attention to profitability and quality
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and partners
- Keep debtors in check and flag any risk early
- Ensure travel docs and operating schedules are prepped and polished
- Flag travel restrictions and keep group logistics compliant
- Be the go-to for emergencies — calm, clear, and on-call
- Suggest enhancements to elevate the guest experience
Requirements
- 4–5 years inbound consulting experience
- Deep regional knowledge of SA, Southern & East Africa
- Solid financial instincts — margins, modelling, and analysis
- Fierce attention to detail and admin excellence
- Laser focus under pressure and moving priorities
- Fluent in tech tools: Excel a must, Tourplan a bonus
