Job Description

About the Role

The Focus Group, a leading financial services company listed on the JSE, is seeking an experienced IT Auditor to join their Group Audit Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for auditing various business verticals within the company’s IT department, ensuring that IT risks are properly managed and mitigated.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with business verticals and partner Assurance providers
Facilitate the maintenance of risk profiles (inherent and residual view of IT risks)
Challenge risk management information and provide meaningful inputs to management on areas for improvement

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Computer Auditing, Information Systems, or Auditing
Professional certification in CIA, CISA, CISM, CRISC, or CGIT (at least one required)
2+ years of audit experience with a focus on IT Audit, including IT general control reviews, application control reviews, Risk Management Frameworks, and Cyber and Information Security

Qualifications

B Degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Computer Auditing, Information Systems, or Auditing
