About the Role
A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Pricing Analyst to join their team, supporting pricing and quotation processes across their insurance product offerings while ensuring accurate, timely delivery of new business quotes, renewals, and risk proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely new business quotations, risk proposals, and scheme renewals.
- Apply the organisation’s defined pricing methodologies across various insurance products.
- Manage both book-rated and claims-rated quotations.
- Maintain and update the quotation register for new and existing schemes.
- Capture and analyse claims experience and pricing trends.
- Analyse and report on price monitoring and performance indicators.
- Support pricing decisions through data-driven insights.
- Work closely with reinsurers and underwriters when required.
- Manage stakeholder queries and escalations professionally and within agreed timelines.
- Maintain strong collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Track pricing tasks and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
- Maintain accurate electronic filing and documentation.
- Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives when required.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Financial Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
- 5–8 years’ experience in a similar role within Life Insurance.
- Strong understanding of risk benefits and actuarial assumptions.
- Experience working with insurance pricing, quotations, and scheme renewals.
