About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with Agile Scrum Master expertise to join our team in Sandton. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing projects, particularly in the financial services environment, and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for guiding teams, managing dependencies, and ensuring successful implementation of Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Manage sprint planning and increment management against each defined Minimum Viable Product Program Increment (PI)
Plan and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to ensure alignment with business needs and strategic goals
Gate-keep Sprint Planning, manage backlog refinement, and interact with product owners to ensure successful project delivery
Provide guidance and support to teams on Agile methodologies, including Scrum Master and SAFe certifications
Manage multiple dependencies outside of the project scope
Ensure successful implementation of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) or regulatory-driven projects within a financial services environment

Requirements

Project manager with 5-10 years of experience in managing projects
Minimum 3 years of practical experience as an Agile Scrum Master
Regulatory, Risk and Compliance experience within Corporate and Investment Banking is preferred
Project Management Certification (e.g. PMP, PMBOK, PRINCE2)
Agile Project Management Certification (Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent)
