About the Role
The Emalahleni MP: Trainee Manager – Retail/FMCG role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee Manager in the Retail/FMCG sector. As a Trainee Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the management of retail operations and contributing to the growth and development of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving and processing of goods
- Manage cash office transactions and administration tasks
- Provide sales floor support and customer service
- Develop and implement organizational systems and processes
- Lead and motivate teams to achieve business objectives
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
- Relevant Retail/FMCG qualification (advantageous)
- At least 5 years experience in Retail/FMCG across departments (receiving, cash office, administration, sales floor)
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience
- Strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of retail operations and reporting
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); SAP/Unisolv experience an advantage
