About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a talented Project Manager (Quantity Surveyor) within the Built Environment sector to join our client’s team. As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of construction projects. You will be responsible for cost management, contract administration, procurement, and overall project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Estimating and providing cost advice during the design phase of projects
- Preparing bills of quantities and tender documents
- Managing the procurement process and assessing contractor bids
- Administering contracts and ensuring contract compliance
- Monitoring project costs and managing variations
- Preparing progress reports and conducting financial analysis
- Providing input into project risk management
- Collaborating with project teams and stakeholders to ensure project success
Requirements
- National Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field (Minimum qualification)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quantity surveying or project management
- Proficiency in cost estimating, contract administration, and procurement
- Thorough understanding of construction contracts and relevant legislation
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Qualifications
- National Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
