Job Description
Hire Resolve is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tailings Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Tailings Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the design, construction, and operation of tailings storage facilities and associated infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and construction of tailings storage facilities and associated infrastructure
- Manage all aspects of the tailings management system
- Conduct geotechnical investigations and monitoring
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
- Implement best practices for tailings management
- Provide technical input and guidance on tailings-related projects
Requirements:
- BSc or BEng degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in tailings and mineral residue facilities
- Strong knowledge of tailings engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
