Job Description:
Hire Resolve’s Client are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Section Engineer to join our mining team in Mpumalanga. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the engineering activities within a designated section of the mine, ensuring that all operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities:
– Planning and coordinating engineering projects within the designated section of the mine
– Providing technical support and guidance to mining operations
– Managing budgets, resources, and timelines for engineering projects
– Conducting regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
– Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing solutions to optimize efficiency
– Training and mentoring junior engineers and technical staff
– Collaborating with other departments to achieve overall business objectives
Requirements:
– Grade 12
– National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
– GCC Mines and Works
– 5 years appointed Engineer experience in an Underground mining environment
Benefits:
Salary: R1,5m R2m CTC
