Job Description

What You’ll Do Sales & Business Development Drive sales growth by selling our products, services, and solutions to customers within your designated territory Meet and exceed sales budgets and net profit targets through strategic planning and execution Identify and pursue new sales and service opportunities Negotiate and close deals while maintaining competitive pricing and maximum profit margins Conduct bi-weekly client visits and maintain a comprehensive call register Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers Provide exceptional customer service with a focus on achieving 80% satisfaction ratings Resolve customer problems and complaints efficiently, keeping management informed Answer technical questions and provide expert guidance (with support from technical teams when needed) Strategic Planning & Reporting Develop business plans and sales strategies in collaboration with technical coordinators Prepare monthly sales forecasts, action plans, and market intelligence reports Monitor sales performance against budget and implement corrective action plans Maintain accurate databases of sales prospects and customer information Market Intelligence Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions Attend trade shows, conferences, and exhibitions, providing feedback on market dynamics Identify product improvements and new product opportunities What We’re Looking For Essential Skills & Competencies Proven track record in sales with demonstrated ability to meet and exceed targets Strong negotiation and closing skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to service excellence Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational abilities Technical aptitude with ability to understand and explain complex products Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Key Attributes Strategic thinker with strong planning and execution capabilities Team player who collaborates effectively across departments Results-oriented professional who thrives under pressure Strong stakeholder management skills Cultural competence and ability to work with diverse teams High level of self-awareness and commitment to continuous improvement What We Offer Competitive salary package with performance-based incentives Opportunity to work with a market-leading organization Professional development and training opportunities Supportive team environment focused on collaboration and success Clear career progression pathways

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Drive sales and business development activities within a designated territory. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve revenue targets. Conduct client visits, product presentations, and technical consultations. Prepare and deliver accurate quotations, proposals, and tenders. Monitor sales forecasts, budgets, and performance against targets. Collaborate with internal teams (technical, logistics, and management) to ensure client satisfaction. Attend industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows to promote company products and services. Maintain up-to-date records on CRM systems and prepare regular sales reports. Requirements: Matric (Grade 12) with a technical or sales qualification preferred. Minimum of 35 years experience in sales within the mining, industrial, or engineering sector . Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software. Valid drivers license and willingness to travel. Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented.
