Job Summary
Key
Responsibilities:
- Implement Montessori methodology to foster holistic development in learners.
- Support students’ academic, social, emotional, and physical growth.
- Foster a safe and engaging learning environment, tailoring your approach to each child’s needs.
- Maintain effective communication with parents and colleagues to ensure the well-being and progress of students.
Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
- A recognised Montessori qualification (or in progress) and/or prior Montessori experience.
- BEd/PGCE (or working towards a recognised teaching qualification).
- Current SACE registration.
- Experience working with children aged 6-9 years.
- A solid understanding of Montessori philosophy and a commitment to authentic Montessori education.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong initiative, self-direction, and the ability to work independently.
- Effective time management skills, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
