Job Description

About the Role

The Parts Storeman role at SydSen Recruit is a critical position that requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing inventory, processing parts orders, and maintaining manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and accurately process incoming parts deliveries
Maintain organised storage of genuine parts, accessories, and consumables
Conduct regular stock counts and cycle checks
Monitor stock levels, including slow-moving and obsolete parts
Ensure correct storage conditions to prevent damage or deterioration
Issue parts to workshop technicians accurately and timeously
Process parts returns and warranty claims in line with manufacturer procedures
Pick and prepare parts for customer collections and deliveries
Maintain accurate records of all parts movements on the Dealer Management System

Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Storeman, ideally within an automotive environment
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Basic computer literacy and ability to learn dealership systems
Good numeracy skills for stock control and invoicing
Physically fit (able to lift items up to 25kg)
Valid driver’s licence

Qualifications

Grade 12 (preferred but not essential)
