Job Description
Luxury Spa at a Boutique Hotel close to Somerset West is looking for a Senior Spa Therapist. Duties: Treatments include but not limited to massages, facials, pedicure and manicure Deliver a variety of spa services (body treatments, massages, waxing and manicure / pedicure) in a safe and comfortable manner whilst upholding company standards Maintain equipment and inventory of products Keep documentation and maintain clients files Keep a clean and stocked room Acknowledge and respond to relevant customer queries, needs and expectations Suggest and promote retail products or additional services Uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations Cooperate with and report on administration on any arising issues Apply best practices and be up to date with market trends Good financial acumen required for controls, budgeting and procurement requirements Ability to market spa services to in order to achieve sales goals & targets Schedule guest appointments Management reporting required Manage customer complaints when required Requirements: Grade 12 Have formal training from an accredited institution Reliable; ethical, confidential, motivated, sales orientated, honest & passionate Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage appointments and schedules efficiently. Ability to work well as part of a team and support junior staff. Communication skills – with guests and fellow staff members Well organised and likes to work in a clean environment Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on industry trends and new treatments. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices in a spa environment. Must show Initiative to problem solve and work with fellow staff Adhere to high service standards to ensure the best quality of service
