About the Role
We are seeking a junior MPKI Developer to join our team in Johannesburg. As an MPKI Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and documenting CA systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards such as WebTrust, NIST, ETSI, and PKI RFCs.
Key Responsibilities
- CA Development: Developing new CA systems and maintaining existing ones
- Maintenance and Documentation: Ensuring compliance requirements are met and documenting system changes
- Developer Support: Providing support to internal and external clients on CA-related matters
- Certificate Lifecycle Management: Managing certificate lifecycles, monitoring expiration dates, and renewing certificates as needed
- Reporting and Dashboards: Developing MPKI reporting dashboards using C# with xUnit or NUnit
- Unit Testing and Validation: Performing unit testing and validation procedures to ensure system integrity
- Compliance and Security: Ensuring compliance with security monitoring service provider requirements and managing alerts
- Audit Support: Providing support for annual MPKI audits
Requirements
- Strong unit testing experience in C# using xUnit and/or NUnit
- Understanding of test-driven development (TDD) principles
- Experience with mocking frameworks (e.g., Moq, NSubstitute)
- Knowledge of testing best practices including arrange-act-assert pattern and SOLID principles
- Ability to write clean, testable code with proper dependency injection
- Desire to work in a Certificate Authority technical team

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related degree
