About the Role

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Assistant Lodge Manager to join a luxury safari camp in Limpopo, where you will contribute to maintaining exceptional standards and ensuring memorable guest experiences. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and providing top-notch service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage lodge operations and ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Supervise and train staff members to uphold high standards
  • Coordinate with departments to maintain excellent guest satisfaction
  • Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve any issues promptly
  • Assist with reporting and administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Previous lodge or safari camp management experience in a luxury environment
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication abilities
  • Ability to manage staff and uphold high guest service standards
  • Understanding of housekeeping, F&B, and front-of-house operations
  • Able to handle guest feedback professionally
  • Strong administrative, reporting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field (Preferred but not necessary)

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: R15,000 – R20,000 per month (Negotiable DOE)
  • Live-in accommodation provided
