About the Role
We are seeking an Assistant Management Couple to join our exclusive team at a stunning luxury lodge in the Greater Kruger region. As a dynamic duo, one partner will take on Assistant Manager (Operations) responsibilities, while the other steps in as either Admin/Office Manager or Food & Beverage Manager (HOD). The successful candidates will be responsible for running the lodge smoothly behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily lodge operations, ensuring smooth service delivery and guest satisfaction
- Manage teams across various departments, including housekeeping, F&B, and admin
- Monitor and improve operational procedures, ensuring efficiency and compliance
- Handle guest feedback, concerns, and special requests professionally
- Maintain inventory, budgets, and stock control within your department
- Coordinate with management to ensure lodge standards and service excellence are maintained
- Support HR functions, staff scheduling, and training initiatives
Requirements
- Proven experience in lodge or hospitality management (operations, admin, or F&B)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Flexible, hands-on, and ready to live on-site in a remote, luxury environment
- No children or pets (live-in requirement)
- Passion for delivering luxury guest experiences and maintaining high standards
Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required for this role. The successful candidates will need to demonstrate relevant experience and skills.
Salary & Benefits
- Combined salary: R25,000 – R45,000 per month (depending on experience)
- Assistant Manager: R18,000 – R25,000 per month
- Admin/F&B Manager: R18,000 – R20,000 per month
- 50% medical aid + contribution toward pension fund
- All meals included while on-site
- Performance-based bonuses + potential 13th / 14th cheques
