About the Role

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a strong Assistant Management Couple to join a well-established, family-focused coastal property on the Wild Coast on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This hands-on, service-driven couple will support the General Managers in the day-to-day running of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth operational management throughout the contract period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences
  • Support and inspire department teams to maintain high service standards
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining efficient operational procedures
  • Champion a guest-centric culture across all areas of the property
  • Manage guest feedback and resolve concerns professionally
  • Ensure compliance with financial protocols, labour legislation, and administrative requirements
  • Work closely with the General Managers to ensure smooth seasonal operations
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment
  • Build strong relationships with local suppliers, fishermen, and artisans

Requirements

Proven stable work history within the hospitality industry

A complementary couple with strong experience across F&B management, Front Office/Reservations, and Housekeeping

Minimum 5 years senior hotel or resort management experience

Strong operational and guest-focused mindset

Excellent team leadership and communication skills

Solid financial and labour legislation knowledge

Strong administrative and organisational ability

Qualifications

Hotel school qualification advantageous

South African citizenship or valid work permits
