About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at a wine estate in Stellenbosch/Brackenfell. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the restaurant outlet, ensuring excellent guest service, and maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and managing the restaurant outlet
- Training staff
- Overseeing food quality and developing menus
- Maintaining revenue, profitability, and quality goals
- Ensuring efficient restaurant operation with high standards
- Empowering employees to deliver exceptional service
- Providing excellent guest service and soliciting guest feedback
- Effectively addressing guest concerns and complaints
- Reviewing guest satisfaction results with employees

Requirements
- Grade 12
- Formal qualification (advantageous)
- Minimum of 4 years of luxury restaurant/hotel experience
- WSET/CWA certification (advantageous)
- Computer literate and analytically skilled
- Fluent in English
- Flexible with working hours
- Physically fit
