As they expand their market presence, they are looking for a passionate and results-driven Country Manager to lead their efforts in Nairobi, Kenya.
Role Overview:
My client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Country Manager to drive the success of their premium alcohol brands, across the Kenyan market. This is a key leadership role that requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the alcohol and spirits industry, market trends, and consumer behavior.
Important:
This position is only open to Kenyan Nationals .

Key Responsibilities:
- Market Leadership: Leverage your comprehensive knowledge of the alcohol and spirits industry to identify market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive dynamics, ensuring our brands stay ahead in the market.
- Sales & Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies for both Off Trade and ON Trade channels to maximize profitability and achieve company sales objectives.
- Brand Building: Establish and strengthen our brands in high-profile outlets through targeted sales, consumer promotions, and brand-building activities.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and supervise Key Accounts Executives and Promoters, ensuring they meet their sales targets and deliver exceptional performance.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Accounts across the country, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee stock management, distribution, and credit policies, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with company standards.
- Promotional Activities: Design and execute approved sales promotions and selling programs, driving brand visibility and sales growth.
- Competitive Intelligence: Stay informed about competitors’ activities, continuously reviewing and adjusting strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior sales or marketing role within the alcohol and spirits industry.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market data and trends.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
