Job Summary
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years` experience as a Bendi Driver/ forklift driver or similar role in a cold storage or warehouse environment.
- Education: Matric certificate.
- Licensing: Valid Bendi/Forklift operating license.
- Safety Awareness: Demonstrated knowledge of safety protocols, especially in food storage or cold storage environments.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Stock Management: Daily stock put-away, pallet support for pickers, and ad-hoc movements.
- Quality Control: Report and reject damaged stock/pallets.
- Equipment Safety: Inspect Bendi/Forklift and report issues.
- Maintenance: Recharge/refuel equipment, clean weekly.
- Inventory Control: Use scanners and movement sheets; report discrepancies.
- Cycle Counts: Participate in daily and monthly stock counts.
- Compliance: Follow food safety, cleaning, and housekeeping protocols.
