About the Role
A reputable law firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Candidate Attorney to join their team at their Pretoria branch. The ideal candidate will have completed their LLB degree and be eligible to apply for their right of appearance in South African courts.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and drafting of documents
- Represent clients in court and provide advice on legal matters
- Maintain accurate records and files
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members
Requirements
- Completed LLB degree from a recognized South African university
- Eligible to apply for the Right of Appearance in the High Court
- Strong academic record with exposure to key legal modules (Civil Procedure, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Contract Law)
- Own reliable transport / valid driver’s license
- Computer literate
- Fluent in Afrikaans & English / excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
- Formal education: LLB degree from a recognized South African university
