About the Role
A prestigious, upmarket Dental Practice in the beautiful Midlands region of KwaZulu-Natal is seeking a skilled and HPCSA-Registered Dental Therapist to join their dynamic team. This opportunity is ideal for a Dental Therapist with private practice experience who is confident in providing comprehensive primary oral healthcare and is ready to contribute to a high-standard, modern practice environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct oral examinations and treatment planning within scope
- Perform scaling and polishing
- Provide preventative and periodontal therapy
- Carry out direct restorations (fillings)
- Manage paediatric dentistry within scope
- Extract primary teeth
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Oral Health / Dental Therapy
- Registered with the HPCSA as a Dental Therapist
- Proven experience in private practice
- Confident and competent in oral examinations and treatment planning within scope
- Proficient in scaling and polishing
- Skilled in preventative and periodontal therapy
- Experienced in direct restorations (fillings)
- Familiar with paediatric dentistry within scope
- Excellent communication and patient management skills
