CORE PURPOSE OF JOB
To manage effective deployment of technology to all university end-users and offering predictable, dependable technical support.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS CORE COMPETENCIES
•Proven Leadership and Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills.
•Ability to draft and manage comprehensive ICT projects in a complex environment.
•Extensive experience in writing business proposals and reports.
•Knowledge of megatrends in digital transformation and proven ability to undertake research in the application of technology
•Demonstrable experience in resource management including Financial, management & Human Resources Management principles.
•Proven ability to identify and act on trends in IT within the business environment.
•Thorough understanding in the application of the ITIL and COBIT Frameworks;
•Proven experience in strategic sourcing of ICT services, contract and Service Level Management
•Experience in conceptualization and delivery of integrated digital solutions
•Experience in capacity building including designing and offering technical training
REQUIREMENTS
•M + 4 Degree with a major in Computer Science, Information Technology or Information Systems
•Minimum of 6 years technical support experience
•Minimum 3 years experience in a managerial role in a technical environment.
