About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Duty Manager to join our team at HotelJobs’ Luxury Lodge in Madikwe Game Reserve, North West. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high standards of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet, Greet & Host guests, making them feel at home
- Informing guests about lodge facilities and offerings
- Coordinating check-ins and check-outs
- Overseeing lodge employees
- Maintain housekeeping standards in lodge and coordinating Room preparation
- Report and Follow up Maintenance concerns
- Control, management and administration of stock through systems and procedures
- Handling complaints as they arise, resolve complaints, and then follow up to make sure everythings back on track
- Ensuring guests have a pleasant experience
- Take care of guests with special needs, responding to guests needs and anticipating their unstated ones
Requirements
- Proven work experience in a similar role in a 4/5-star lodge
- Ideal candidates will have a flair for communication, with the ability to resolve issues in a timely and accurate manner
- Understanding of all lodge management best practices and relevant laws
- Hands-on experience with Hotel Management software (PMS)
- Proficiency in English
Qualifications
- Degree / Diploma in hospitality is advantageous
