Position: Electronic Component Sales Representative Location: Kuilsriver Industry: Established electronic engineering/distribution company Training: Company will provide training on different electronic components Salary: Competitive basic salary plus benefits Benefits: Provident fund, medical aid & fuel allowance Type: Full-time position Start date: Preferably ASAP Main role: Establish and maintain business relationships with new and current customers in the electronic engineering & manufacturing industry. Qualifications and skills: • Completed Grade 12 • Suitable technical or electronical qualification (Light Current). • Understanding of the electronics industry • Ability to provide technical support to customers • Aptitude for sales and customer service • Own reliable transport • Valid driver’s license. • Bilingual language skills. • Computer literate, MS Office, especially in Excel (Spreadsheets) • Ability to liaise with managers, engineers and technical staff. • Strong attention to detail and ability to complete projects. • Strong aptitude for figures & accuracy Duties • Visit current and prospective customers to maintain to drive new business growth • Manage existing client relationships in the electronic engineering & manufacturing industry • Promote extensive range of electronic components • Work with members of the sales team • Assist design engineers in selecting suitable electronic parts for new designs. • Identify and offer replacement parts for existing designs to engineers and buyers. • Supply management with reports as to business growth
