This live-in role is ideal for a culinary professional with strong leadership skills, creativity, and the ability to set up and manage a brand-new kitchen from the ground up ️✨. Key Responsibilities ️ Lead the setup and establishment of a new kitchen, including layout, equipment, and operational systems Oversee all culinary operations, ensuring exceptional quality, consistency, and presentation Design and implement innovative menus using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork ️ Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations Manage kitchen budgets, stock control, and supplier relationships Deliver outstanding dining experiences for lodge guests, including à la carte, buffet, and special events ✅ Requirements Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in luxury hospitality environments ️ Demonstrated ability to set up and manage a new kitchen Formal culinary qualification or equivalent professional experience ️ Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills Creative flair with a passion for delivering world-class cuisine ⚡ Ability to work under pressure in a high-end, remote lodge environment Package Salary: R30,000 per month (Negotiable DOE) Live-in position Benefits: Medical Aid Pension Fund Work Cycle: 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off ✨ This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and innovative culinary leader to shape the kitchen operations of a luxury lodge in the Greater Kruger, creating unforgettable dining experiences for guests .
