Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Housekeeper to lead our luxury boutique hotel’s housekeeping team in Hermanus, WC. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of housekeeping operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences with cleanliness and attention to detail
  • Ensure 100% room readiness and efficient room turnaround
  • Lead, train, and inspire your housekeeping team to exceed standards
  • Maintain high-quality audits, inventory control, and SOP compliance
  • Promote sustainability and environmentally responsible practices
  • Collaborate with other departments to keep operations seamless

Requirements

  • 8–10 years’ housekeeping experience, with at least 2–3 years in a similar leadership role (five-star property experience is a huge plus!)
  • Computer literacy and OPERA Cloud experience
  • Strong operational and technical knowledge

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or similar (beneficial)
