Job Summary

Minimum requirements: – Oversee and perform the full accounting function, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and journal entries. – Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts with variance analysis and commentary. – Handle tax reconciliations (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax) and assist with accurate and timely SARS submissions. – Manage cost accounting processes, including cost allocation, margin analysis, and stock costing. – Monitor and analyse budgets and forecasts to support business decision-making. – Oversee the Debtors and Creditors functions, including: o Supervision and performance management of the Debtors and Creditors Clerks. o Review and approval of reconciliations and payment schedules. o Ensuring timely collections and supplier payments. o Maintaining healthy cash flow through proactive credit control and supplier relationship management. – Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close procedures. – Assist with external audits, financial reporting, and liaising with auditors and tax consultants. – Implement and maintain sound internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures. – Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management. – Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as required. Job Summary

Experienced Financial Accountant to monitor all financial data and prepare accurate financial statement for our Group of Companies. Financial Accountant responsibilities include budgeting, reporting, and performing internal audits. Responsibilities will include but not limited to keeping our financial records organised, including tracking accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring that each account is reconciled correctly. This is an opportunity to be part of our growing real estate office and see tangible results from your work on a daily basis. The successful candidate must be willing to travel between branches from time to time. Responsibilities Preparing underlying working papers for external audit purposes. Budget preparation and analysis. Interact with external auditors at the time of conducting of audits. Management of financial statements audits and other agreed engagements Examine, analyse, and interpret accounting records to prepare financial statements. Prepare annual /interim/monthly financial statements/management accounts. Organise, prepare, and review bookkeeping transaction. Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities) Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies. Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments. Analyse financial trends Perform month-end and year-end close processes. Requirements Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field 6 – 7 years of experience in financial department. Budget preparation and analysis IFRS statutory reporting experience (essential) Extensive CaseWare experience (essential) Tax experience (essential) Sage ERP (advantageous) Additional certification (e.g. CPA) Experience with consolidations (advantageous) Skills Excellent math skills with attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Analytical / Accurate Achievement orientated Deadline driven, with a sense of urgency/result orientation. Time Management Advanced Excel skills Ability to work under extreme pressure Adapting and responding to change

Job Summary

Travel Management Company is looking for an Accountant to be based in Cape Town. This is a hybrid role. The main purpose of this role is to ensure accuracy of accounting, quality, IFRS standards and compliance are met for the respective business unit. To drive the accounting process and provide complete, trustworthy and accurate reporting and accounting information in a timely manner. To perform all relevant duties of a Financial Accountant for the respective business unit, support and drive escalations for Debtors and Creditors procedures and controls, plus deliver key objectives and goals. Establish and maintain required business processes and procedures mitigating business risk. Matric / Grade 12 Accounting Tertiary Qualification Experience with Foreign Exchange and understanding of the impact thereof Skilled in consolidation, Journals, reconciliation and audit support Advanced Excel skills Excellent communicator and initiator Experience in the Tourism industry is advantageous Experience between 3 5 years

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities: Accurately process and prepare all financial data up to trial balance level. Post and review month-end journals and ensure correctness of entries. Prepare and reconcile General Ledger accounts using Blackline. Support the regional credit management function by preparing Accounts Receivable reconciliations. Assist Senior Accountants with monthly and year-end closings. Perform various reporting duties including: Royalty calculations Month-end sales reports OE Large Projects reporting Fixed asset reporting Weekly cash flow updates Monthly updates to TM1 budget formats compared to actuals Sales budgets/forecasts per product line and branch Update Cognos sheets and ensure cube balancing for monthly and forecast reporting. Ensure full compliance with the monthly finance checklist. Conduct Capex audits and assess project paybacks. Respond to and manage product/branch manager sales reporting queries. Perform ad hoc reporting as required. Assist with Compliance Scorecard Self-Assessment testing. Perform any additional finance-related tasks as needed. Requirements: Completed tertiary qualification in finance or accounting . Minimum 5 years experience in a similar financial/accounting role. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel . Experience with SAP and CaseWare is essential. Strong knowledge of month-end processes, reconciliations, and reporting tools. Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
