Hexkoel (Pty) Ltd, situated in the beautiful Hex River Valley, is a well-established fruit cooling enterprise one of the largest of its kind internationally. The company requires the services of a Financial Manager who will take responsibility for all financial management functions at Hexkoel, ensuring that the MD and Board are well-informed of financial matters for effective decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Financial Management (including budgeting, debtors/creditors administration, cash flow management, statistical reporting, reconciliations, journals, month-end administration, payroll and payments)
• Risk & Compliance Management
• Overall responsibility for managing audit procedures and findings
• Financial Reporting
• Oversee payroll processes
• Act as Company Secretary

Requirements:

• Relevant post graduate qualification (BCom / BAcc)
• Completed articles & professional registration (SAICA / SAPIA / CIMA)
• At least 8 years business-financial management experience
• Previous experience in the Agricultural or Logistical Industries (advantageous)
• Professional knowledge and insight with regards to the functioning of business enterprises
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Ability to interpret and analyse data
• Well-developed leadership and management skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (English & Afrikaans)
• Well-developed computer literacy and skills
• Outstanding problem-solving skills
• Excellent presentation skills
