About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Front-of-House Butler to join our luxury lodge team in South Africa. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences and delivering exceptional service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests with check-ins and check-outs
- Maintain clear communication with managers and team members
- Prepare and serve a range of cocktails with confidence
- Set tables for various meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, fine dining) with precision
- Ensure attention to detail in table arrangements and service etiquette
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in Hospitality Management or related field
- Previous experience in luxury lodge, hotel, or wilderness hospitality preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to adapt to dynamic lodge operations and wilderness environment
- Confidently prepare and serve a range of cocktails
- Possess background knowledge of mixology and beverage presentation, including wines
Qualifications
- Formal training or certification in Hospitality Management or related field (e.g. Diploma in Hotel Management)
