About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious and hardworking Food & Beverage Outlet Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our wine estate outlet, located near Stellenbosch / Brackenfell. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of talented individuals, ensuring exceptional service standards, and collaborating with other departments to create innovative menus and dining concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the outlet, including managing the dining area, staff, and customer service.
- Leading and motivating a team of talented individuals, ensuring a harmonious work environment.
- Implementing and maintaining exceptional service standards, focusing on guest satisfaction.
- Collaborating with other departments to create and execute innovative menus and dining concepts.
- Monitoring and optimizing outlet performance, including revenue generation, cost control, and inventory management.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Handling guest feedback and resolving any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- At least 3 years proven experience as a Restaurant / Outlet or F&B Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, beverage planning and inventory management.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests, staff, and other departments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle challenging situations with grace and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field)
