? Guest Relations Anchor ? Luxury Island Resort | Mozambique ? Salary: Negotiable (DOE) | ? Live-in Overview A luxury island resort in Mozambique is seeking a professional and guest-focused Guest Relations Anchor to ensure every guest experiences exceptional service from arrival to departure. This role requires a highly organised, personable individual with strong attention to detail and a passion for luxury hospitality. Key Responsibilities Meet and greet all guests on arrival and farewell them on departure, knowing guests personally by name Understand and anticipate individual guest needs through interaction Conduct thorough orientation of new guests on arrival, including dietary requirements and special requests Communicate guest information effectively to other lodges and departments prior to arrival Support the Lodge Manager with daily and weekly operational tasks, including budget control and guest experience initiatives Assist with room allocation, planning for future bookings, and special requests Participate in all morning and departmental meetings Plan daily activities with activity guides and ensure smooth guest itineraries Ensure rooms are checked by Housekeeping Manager before guest arrival Host guests at meals in coordination with management when required Manage check-outs and invoices in the absence of the Lodge Administrator Assist with monthly operational planning, including training, staffing levels, and guest requirements Adhere to and enforce company policies, procedures, and labour regulations Ensure all departments meet minimum operational standards Promote a culture of Going the Extra Mile across all teams Oversee guest delight activities with guides, butlers, housekeepers, and other staff Attend departmental and finance meetings as required Conduct and oversee stock takes, equipment checks, and maintenance of furniture and facilities Organise staff training workshops and monitor records Maintain uniform standards, guest amenities, crockery, linen, and operational supplies Conduct regular inspections of office, stores, laundry, and workshop areas to ensure cleanliness and organisation Support community involvement initiatives and contribute to the resorts guest storytelling and staff engagement programs Requirements Previous experience in a guest relations or front-of-house role in a luxury resort environment Strong organisational, planning, and communication skills Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of service Hands-on, proactive, and flexible approach to duties Passion for creating memorable guest experiences Professional and approachable manner with strong interpersonal skills Whats on Offer Competitive salary based on experience Live-in accommodation Opportunity to work in a high-end, unique island resort setting Career growth in a professional and dynamic hospitality environment If you do not hear from us within 7 working days, please consider your application unsuccessful.
