Guest Relations Anchor | Luxury Island Resort | Mozambique ? Live-In | Salary: Negotiable (DOE) Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a professional and guest-focused Guest Relations Anchor for a prestigious luxury island resort in Mozambique. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and personable hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure Requirements: Previous experience in a guest relations or front-of-house role within a luxury resort environment Strong organisational, planning, and communication skills Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of service Hands-on, proactive, and flexible approach to duties Passion for creating memorable guest experiences Professional, approachable manner with strong interpersonal skills High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities Key Responsibilities: Meet and greet guests on arrival and farewell them on departure, ensuring personalised service Build strong relationships with guests and understand individual preferences and requirements Conduct thorough guest orientations, including dietary requirements and special requests Communicate guest information effectively to all relevant departments prior to arrival Support the Lodge Manager with daily and weekly operational tasks, including budget control and guest experience initiatives Assist with room allocation, forward planning, and special requests Participate in morning briefings and departmental meetings Coordinate daily activities and guest itineraries with activity guides Ensure rooms are inspected prior to guest arrival Host guests at meals in coordination with management when required Manage check-outs and invoicing in the absence of the Lodge Administrator Assist with monthly operational planning, including staffing, training, and guest requirements Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and labour regulations Promote a culture of excellence and Going the Extra Mile across all departments Oversee guest delight initiatives across all operational teams Conduct stock takes, equipment checks, and facility inspections Organise and oversee staff training and development programmes Maintain standards for uniforms, amenities, linen, and operational supplies Support community involvement and staff engagement initiatives Package: Competitive salary based on experience Live-in accommodation provided Opportunity to work in a unique, high-end island resort environment Career growth within a professional and dynamic hospitality setting If you are passionate about luxury hospitality and thrive in guest-focused leadership roles, we would love to hear from you.
