About the Role
AtripleA recruitment & temps is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our team in Parktown, Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the business operates as efficiently as possible with innovative and modern solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage projects across the business
- Implementing agile and waterfall project methodologies
- Conduct project impact meetings with scorecards
- Diagnose and solve bottlenecks in the projects
• Implement principles to improve business processes
- Act as an internal consultant/process expert for the various departments
- Identify business issues and conduct workshops around problem definition
- Investigate and measure the extent of the problem in each of the departments
- Solve the problem using the most efficient method
- Maintain and control the systems, where solutions have been implemented
• Build and maintain company scorecards that track company and departmental goals with Power BI
- Conduct analysis, scenario planning and simulation through mathematical/management accounting models
• Facilitate workshops to provide a platform for engineers and data analysts to innovate and share ideas
- Automate business processes through RPA (Power Automate, Power Bi, Smartsheet Automation, chat bots)
- Data science through ML and AI
- Research what ideas related to technology and 4IR can be brought into the business
Requirements
• BEng Industrial Engineer/Business Process Engineer Education
• Competencies (Advantageous)
- Management Accounting Certification (high level financial understanding)
- Project Management
- Lean Six Sigma
• 2 Years experience
• Data analysis systems (Power Bi)
• Project management tools (Smartsheet)
