Job Summary
Key
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the accounting department.
- Manage and mentor a team.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and tax returns.
- Provide strategic financial advice to clients.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
- Represent the firm at networking events and business functions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance
- Professional certification (e.g., CA (SA), SAIPA) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Caseware and Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
