About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Assistant FOH Manager to join our luxury estate in Constantia, Cape Town. As part of our front-of-house team, you will support the Senior FOH Manager in ensuring smooth daily operations, leading training and motivating the service team while maintaining the highest standards of guest satisfaction, cleanliness, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support FOH team members, ensuring excellent service delivery.
  • Ensure all food and beverage products are presented to company standards.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Handle guest relations and address any service concerns promptly.
  • Manage daily reservations and ensure accurate booking entries.
  • Oversee cash-ups, handovers, and adherence to financial procedures.
  • Maintain health, safety, and hygiene compliance at all times.
  • Monitor stock control and assist with daily counts and orders.

Requirements

  • Matric Hospitality Diploma preferred
  • Minimum 1 year in a similar supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent guest service and interpersonal abilities
  • High energy, adaptability, and attention to detail
  • Ability to motivate and support a diverse team
  • Basic POS and cash-handling experience

Qualifications

  • Matric Hospitality Diploma (if applicable)
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
