Who We`re Looking For:

The Bay Hotel, set against the breathtaking Twelve Apostle Mountain range and just steps from the Atlantic Ocean in glamorous Camps Bay, is looking for a Junior Storeman to join their exceptional team. In this role, youll play a key part in our operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient management of our stock and supplies. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving and checking deliveries, organising and maintaining inventory, monitoring stock levels, and assisting in ordering as needed. You will also help with maintaining a clean, orderly storeroom and liaising with other departments to fulfil their supply needs. A reliable, detail-oriented team member, you will contribute to our commitment to excellence by ensuring that all supplies are handled with care and professionalism.

What Is Required:

To ensure that optimum stock levels are maintained; that all goods, perishable and non-perishable are stored under ideal conditions and that maximum security always applies, particularly when receiving and issuing goods.

Minimum

• Grade 12 or Equivalent
• Must speak, read, write and understand English at a professional level
• Computer literate level 2 minimum experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook in particular)
• Accommodation Certificate/ Hotel School diploma is advantageous
• Previous experience in the same or similar position in a 4/5 star hotel
• Familiar with all duties and procedures in a restaurant environment
• Simphony experience advantageous
