Lead Contracts Administrator – EPCM Construction Project – Swakopmund, Namibia

As a result of an awarded major EPCM project in Namibia, our client is seeking a motivated Lead Contracts Administrator to join on site project team on 6:2 roster
About the role
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Ensure terms align with project goals, legal standards, and risk management strategies.
- Maintain and manage contract documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and track key milestones and deliverables.
- Identify potential contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Manage claims, variations, and disputes, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
- Liaise with project managers, procurement teams, legal advisors, and external contractors.
- Act as the central point of contact for all contract-related communications.
- Ensure procurement activities align with contract terms and project timelines.
- Support cost tracking and budget management through contract oversight.
- Authorize payments and variations in line with contractual agreements.
About you
- Hold a Degree in Construction Management, Law, Business, or Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in contract administration, ideally within mining or EPCM environments.
- Strong understanding of commercial law, procurement processes, and project controls.
- Familiarity with contract management systems and ERP platforms.
